MECHANICS for RADIO DRAMA
1. The "Montage - Let Your Voices be Heard" will be held on November 18, 2010 from 9 am to 11:30 am t the Nursing Auditorium, Medicine Building
2. The competition is open to all the first year sections of the UST College of Nursing
3. Theme:
"Reasons to Take Up Nursing"
Each of us Thomasian Nursing students had our own reasons on why we took up nursing. Despite this variations, we are trained in UST to be competent, compassionate, and committed nurses. We must value each day we have in our alma matter and aim to do good in our journey in Nursing
4. Each class will be creating a picture storybook in PoerPoint format, which will be the piece they will be using for their radio drama production.
5. Animations and sound effects are not allowed to be included in the ppt presentation
6. sound effects and voicings for the radio drama must be done live on the day of the presentation
7. There will be no more than 20 students but not less than 5 students from each sections will be allowed on-stage during radio drama production for the voices and sound effects
8. Pictures for the storybook shall be limited to a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 30 pictures only
9. No shots such as kissing, seducing, daring, sexual and the likes will be allowed for the pictures for the storybook or during the comp
10. No outsiders shall be allowed to take photos for the storybook and/or direct or create any of the part of the radio drama production
11. all class presidents will be selecting their order of presentation one day before the event.
12. Each radio drama presentation will last for only a minimum of 5 min to a maximum of 10 mins. For every succeeding minute, one point will be deducted from the overall score.
14. a green flag shall be reaised to signify the start of the timer. A yellow flag is raised if only one minute if left in the time alloted. Lastly, a red flag will be raised if the time has already been succeeded.
15. only handheld props maybe used during the event for the sound effects
16. the props to be used for the comp are all self-provided. None will be issued by the core group unless warranted by the circumstances.
17. only the ppt copy of the story passed to the NCBS will be allowed to be presentated during the competition
18. the decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and binding to all.
19. Failure to comply with any of the above rules will automatically disqualify the team from the event
